British HCI Group

"The British HCI Group is the longest-established and largest national group in Europe devoted to HCI. The British HCI Group was set up in 1984 as a Specialist Group of the British Computer Society, to provide an umbrella organisation for all those working on the requirements analysis, design, implementation and evaluation of technology for human use."

The British HCI Group was formerly known as British Computer Society Human-Computer Interaction Specialist Group.

The British HCI Group organizes the annual HCI conferences since 1985 and publishes the quarterly magazine Interfaces. Interacting with Computers is the journal of the British HCI Group. The British HCI Group also operates the British HCI News mailing list.
