The User-Centered Design Team at Sage Software is seeking a Web Application User Interface Designer for a 4-6 month contract, with opportunity for extension. The UI Designer will be primarily responsible for collaborating with our in-house interaction designer, visual designer and usability analyst to create a user interface design based on the team's navigation structures, wireframes, and process flows. The contractor will also help to construct prototypes for usability testing. The contractor should also know how to create digital assets and resources (e.g. CSS, HTML) for product development to utilize when they implement the application. The ideal contractor will be familiar with MS Expression for Web, although this is not a requirement.
The UI designer role at Sage Software depends greatly on collaboration with user researchers and usability analysts to evolve and improve designs. The UCD team at Sage Software is a strong and growing team. It is well supported by and tightly integrated into the product management and product development processes.
4-6 months with possibility for extension.
Sage Software / Small Business Division is located in Lawrenceville, Georgia, approximately 25 minutes north of downtown Atlanta. The contractor can work remotely.
